  • Carrier Oil - ½ Cup (Which can be grapeseed, sweet almond, olive, coconut, jojoba or any other skin nourishing oil)
  • Sugar - 1 Cup
  • Bergamot Oil - 15-20 Drops

How to Make & Use

Step-1: Add the essential oil to ½ cup of carrier oil and then combine with 1 cup of sugar.

Step-2: Mix all these ingredients nicely and store the mixture in a mason jar.

Step-3: You can use store the mixture for 2-3 months and use it as a body scrub while taking a bath.

Step-4: You can also use this scrub after the face mask to exfoliate the dead cells of your face.

Step-1: Add the bergamot oil to the organic gel or facial oil and mix well.

Step-2: Once it is thoroughly mixed, you can store it in an opaque dark-coloured flip-top container.

Step-3: As bergamot oil is highly photosensitive, it becomes toxic when exposed to Step-4: sunlight and thus should always be stored in opaque dark-coloured bottles.

Step-1: To make a facial cleanser, you can add the bergamot oil to 60 gm of facial cleanser and mix it well.

Step-2: Once thoroughly mixed, you can store it in an opaque dark-coloured bottle.

Step-3: To make a hair cleanser, you can add the bergamot oil to 60gm of shampoo and mix it well.

Step-4: Once thoroughly mixed you can store it the same way.

Step-5: You can use the facial cleanser as a makeup remover or every night. You can apply a few drops of this mixture to a cotton pad and use it to clean your face.

Step-6: You can use the shampoo mixture to clean your hair and scalp, twice a week.

Safety Precautions While Using Bergamot Oil for Skin Care

Bergamot oil comes with many benefits, but also has its own side effects and needs to be used with caution. Here are some precautions you should follow while using bergamot oil on your skin:
